Barenaked Ladies

I went to the BNL concert last night with Carrie and Rosey at the Mershon Auditorium. It was great! They put on a super sweet show, and even had THREE encores. The guys were very natural and having a good time. Guess I’ll have to get some more of their songs now :)

New scenery

So I have started my new job at AOL, and almost completed my first week. Things are going well here. It is a very creative environment with lots of fun people. Hopefully with new and fun tasks coming through, it should be a good time. I have my own cubicle with 2 computers to work on… so not a bad setup. You can always catch me online still, just with a new screen name. You’ll just have to ask me to get it though.

News

So as you may have noticed I haven’t posted anything in a while. It has been crazy busy with all kinds of stuff going on. Classes are going well and keeping me busy, and I’ve been doing some freelance work which is nice experience… so we’ll see if I get money for that stuff :-) The main thing that has kept me busy is that I've been doing lots of Design Circle stuff. Hopefully that will end soon. I have lots of people who are wanting to help out so if then can take over for me, that would help out a lot.

So the big news stories are these. I have a new job... I am leaving the computer labs after 4.5 years. I don't think the place will fall down without me... but we'll see :-) I got accepted for a design internship at AOL where I will be doing web/graphics work. Most of this will be for Netscape and their partners... but AOL pays the rent.

Second... I am now taken. I have a girlfriend. How amazing is that :-P Ok, well maybe not that amazing, but I am very happy. Carrie and I are officially dating now and things are going great.

Well, that is all the news worth reporting. I'll post more later… you know where to find me.
