Road Trip
So here it is… its finally time, and yet so hard to believe. Tomorrow morning, I leave for Louisiana to go party at Mardi Gras. How crazy is that!?!?! I still don’t think I will believe it until I’m there We are leaving at 4am to drive down to New Orleans. 16 hours in a Honda Civic with 3 other people... this is going to be an interesting trip... but hopefully well worth it.
I have gotten off work, notified my teachers, and cleared my schedule. I will be gone until Wed. 3/5. So until then, have fun everyone, be thinking of me, I’ll have updates once I’m back.

Pictures
So I finally got the pictures scaned and posted after from our snow day last week. This also prompted me to create a pictures section of my web page. We'll see how well I can keep up with it.

Cincy
Well I went home for the weekend. It had been a while and I figured I could use time out of the city. Home was nice, just not as relaxing as I had hoped. My dad is doing well after his surgery. He has been back at work and back to his normal self. I got my taxes done and found out I’m not getting very much money back, and almost all of it goes to paying for my printer.
Friday I hung out with a friend and watched a movie. Saturday I ran some errands, got my oil changed, and had dinner at a friends and watched more movies. Sunday I came back to Columbus early and cleaned the apartment. Now I’m onto homework.

Dunce
I just want to say that I have an amazing talent for messing things up. I somehow end up hurting and chasing away the people that mean the most to me. :-( I hate this and wish I didn’t act so immaturely about it… I only wish I could make it up to people and have them forget me.
I wish to publicly apologize for my stupidity

Snow day
Today was a fun snow day. I went out and played in the snow which I hadn’t done in many years. This included all the typical things of sledding, snow ball fights and the like. Then we watched movies and ordered pizza. So basically didn’t do anything productive

Hell week
So I made it through hell week. I don't even think it was planned to be that way, it just kind of happened. I had a midterm in my sociology class on Tuesday night, our midterm project was due for my design class, and on Thursday I had to read, write a summary, and do a presentation in class. Of course I dedicated most of my time to my design project because a) that's what I'm more interested in and b) it was worth a large portion of my grade.
Thankfully I got my printer all hooked up and working. I spent Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night working with that and making some printouts.
And to wrap up the week, we had Valentines Day (or singles awareness to us unlucky single crowd). So to celebrate I just hung out with the guys. On Saturday, I went to Outback Steakhouse with the roomies, talk about some good food :-) Then we proceeded to drink with friends. Not a bad evening. Today, we woke up to a big mess of snow which shut down a lot of the town. Watched the Daytona 500 and cleaned up the apartment.
Since it snowed all day, OSU is actually closed for Monday, how crazy is that!? Of course when we are expected to have over a foot of snow by tomorrow night, I can't see how we could have classes. Happy President's day to us.

Finally
Alright, well it’s been over a month… and I’m finally getting around to updating my page again. It’s just been a hectic month. So lets see how much of it I can wrap up.
Buckeyes are the National Champions!! What a game, what a team, what a town. Lane Ave. is changed to “Champions Lane” at least for a while. Tampa Bay wins the Super Bowl. This can be considered the year of th Bucks.
A new quarter starts, and man it has been busy. I have 2 design classes and then sociology of work. My one studio is a good amount of work, the other design class is reading and field trips, and sociology is lots of reading and talking. Things have been busy at work. It took us almost all of January before we got the scheduling wrapped up. I’m still working with Design Circle, and have been a major coordinator in all of those plans. I signed up for intramural ice hockey and we have an astonishing record of 0-3.
My laptop died, and so I had to send that in for service. After doing some runaround with HP, they took care of it all for free, and it was only gone for 6 days (4 business days). So its back and working great now.
I’m getting a new printer... the Epson Photo Stylus 2200 It is supposed to be the best, newest, coolest printer on the block. I’ll have to keep everyone posted on that. People may ask how much does that cost, or is it worth buying it… my answer is, how much is your sanity worth? Cause if I’m not sitting at Kinko’s at 3 in the morning, its worth it to me.
My dad had triple bypass surgery last week. He went in for a regular checkup, and they found high blockage, so they took care of it before it cause a problem. He is doing well and is coming home tonight. Thanks for everyone’s thoughts and prayers.
So that brings everyone back up to status… where basically I’m busy doing homework, I am basically done with my scoreboard job, so I’m down to just 1 job. I am doing lots of stuff with Design Circle which adds to the fun, I don’t get enough sleep, and I’m still single. Love it.
