Weekend Update

So it has been a pretty good weekend for me. I went thrift shopping and got 2 dress shirts for under $5. Got to eat at Red Lobster. Practiced some softball (my arm is still a little sore). Went to the Cleveland Indians game (believe it or not) and had a great time. And wrapped up the weekend with a grill out and some computer work.

Exhibit

If anyone is interested or in Columbus sometime before Aug. 22nd, our VC spring quarter projects are posted in the President's gallery in Bricker Hall here on campus. It isn't a very fancy display, but it shows off the variety of topics we had in our class for our posters we completed during spring quarter. If you can't make it or want an idea of what it looks like, I took some pictures of the setup

dear lord... I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. This is the best mac comercial spoof I have ever seen. You must watch it, and then watch it again. It is hilarious! LOL

Weekend update

So another weekend has wrapped up, and it is back to the work week. It was a good weekend for me.

Friday night I went home and got to see Basic with John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson, which was pretty good. Just watch out, there are more twist and thinking involved than one would expect for an "action" movie.

Saturday I went golfing which was pretty fun... but I could have done much better. I'm ready for a new set of clubs :-) Saturday evening was another wedding (Cindy and Jimmy) which was fun. A bit different than I had expected, but quite a lively crowd. The pictures are online.

Sunday was church, lunch, driving back to Columbus, and then I saw Pirates of the Caribbean which was very good. Funny and entertaining. If only I would have had more energy to enjoy it... but I would definitely like to see it again.

I have gotten my pictures up from my Hawaiian vacation.

I also added some pictures from the grill out on Sat. evening for Kaz's bday party. I was the grill master :-) that was fun... except that I was eaten alive by the bugs.
